Performances:

Theatre critic, theatrologist and dramaturge, he studied psychology, literature and media management; he holds MA in Media Management. He was the General Manager, Drama Director and Artistic Director of the Serbian National Theatre, editor of programs and publications at the Subotica National Theatre and the Museum of Theatrical Arts of Serbia; as a freelance artist he was a dramaturge in a series of theatre projects. He has been writing theatre criticism since 1986 for leading newspapers, weeklies, magazines, as well as for television and radio stations in Serbia and the former Yugoslavia. He has been the curator or artistic director of many domestic theatre festivals and a member of the jury of almost all festivals in Serbia and the festivals of the national theatres of Montenegro, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.

He edited the theatre newspaper Ludus, he is a member of the editorial board of the magazine Scena, he was an editor in Teatron, Povelja… He prepared a special issue of the UNESCO Review dedicated to the theatre in Yugoslavia, he is the co-author of a unit on Yugoslav theatre in the Great World Theatre Encyclopedia, he has authored texts on domestic drama and theatre published in foreign publications, including the World of Theatre publication of the International Theatre Institute. He edited the Contemporary Serbian Drama edition, edited and moderated the RTS BITEF Hronika, has led discussions at BITEF and Sterija pozorje round tables…

He is the president of the Artistic Council of the Sterija pozorje, was a member of the board of the European Theatre Convention, the president of the Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia, and has served two terms as the president of the Association of Theatre Critics and Theatrologists of Serbia.

He has authored, co-authored, moderated or edited a number of books in the field of theatre studies and theatre history. His essays have been published in monographs on theatres and theatre creators.

As a dramaturge, he has collaborated with Ljuboslav Majer, Radoslav Milenković, Kokan Mladenović, Nebojša Bradić, Boris Isaković, Ljubiša Ristic, Željko Hubač, Rahim Burhan, Saša Milenkovski, Loran Mandon, choreographer Olivera Kovačević Crnjanski, performer Saša Asentić…

He is the winner of the TANJUG “Golden Feather” Award for Theatre Criticism, three Sterija Awards for Criticism and the Venac magazine Award for an essay.
